Our director Paul has many years of experience as a music video director for lots of artists including a few top 20 hits along the way. In-camera colour effects were key to the vibrant performance shots to this and everything was shot in our studios. Brightly coloured gels were added to lights pointed on either side of each band member then swapped about for each different person. There is nothing subtle about the look of this as the pace of the edit matches the frenetic track.
We planed out the lighting for the car scenes so we could emulate the direction of light from outside the vehicle on each person’s face. The composited scenes are intentionally crude but quick enough to give the desired effect of furious pace.
We love the moving image. In fact, we have a passion for it. Big or small screen and wherever your viewers watch, it is an irresistible opportunity to fill a space with colourful pictures and words, to make a statement and say something.
